International Business Spanish Level 1

(TOTAL: 60 Hours of Lessons)

The International Business Spanish Level 1 course is designed for intermediate-level students of Spanish who wish to focus their learning to apply in a business context. It is a modular course consisting of 12 modules of 5 hours each.

This is a popular course both for people who will be conducting business in Spanish and students who are studying business in order to pursue a particular career.

It provides a firm foundation for speaking and writing business Spanish, together with insights into business structure and management in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries.

You will also learn about business protocol, vocabulary, and business expressions; the course will be tailored around your precise language and career needs, with opportunities to practice what you learn in class via a series of tasks.

Some of the areas of focus include:

  • Making telephone calls in Spanish
  • Making presentations
  • Negotiating
  • Writing emails
  • Web conferencing
  • Business correspondence

This will improve your confidence when communicating in business Spanish and will also look good on your CV when pursuing a career.

You will need to take a Spanish level test before booking this course – this can be done during your free trial lesson. If your Spanish skills are not yet at intermediate level you may need to study a few general Spanish lessons until you have achieved the required level.

Please note that I have recommended a textbook for this course. This book is not mandatory, as I will be sharing content from it during our online classes, but it is recommended for students to get the most out of the course.
